Our first blog entry!!

Hello everyone.
Sorry for not blogging earlier but we have been extremely busy!!

We arrived at Benmore very very excited around about 1:00pm. The ferry journey was fun as it rocked the bus a little. Only was of us was sea sick!!

When we got to camp we met our instructors and ate our lunch. Then we saw our dorms and unpacked. We are all very happy with our dorm mates!

After a tour and walk around the centre including having fun in the river, we came back for cake and tea. We were a little bit late but thats because we were having too much fun and we were soaked!

Benmore is a massive building with lots of stairs and a basement where our drying rooms are.
At dinner we had fish and chips plus a vege option. For pudding we had fruit and yogurt.

After dinner we had our Night Walk, which involved following ropes along a dark path, falling over, slipping and sliding, walking in water, mud pits, tunnel crawling racing and walking back to the house in the pitch black through the  deep dark forest!

After showers we all  went to bed and went straight to sleep.......


JOKING!! Lights out at 11:00pm but we aren't sure what time we got to sleep!!

Today we are just about to go to our activities including Gorge Walking, Canoeing and Kayaking.

Better go. We will add some photos later around lunch time.
